My Project
The students who come to my room are voracious learners. They are excited to gain new knowledge through the use of a variety of modalities.
I want to provide tablets to reinforce learning through the use of technology.
These reinforcements would include online books and music. The students could also download apps for math, developing fine motor skills, and communication.
Students with learning differences often learn from and are motivated by the use of technology. We have observed that there is not a shift towards using technology more in the classroom. However, our students often need additional practice and access that we currently don't have. These tablets with protective cases would be great learning tools to supplement our communication tools and learning materials.
