Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each individual student is unique in their own way. They all require differentiated instruction and different ways to learn. I see each student that is in my classroom as an opportunity for change in the future. My students are very eager to learn and to make a difference. With a group of gifted students, I always need to be engaging and moving around and searching things through the internet. They are always motivated to do better with any reward, especially by using technology.
My Project
I would like to have these requested five Amazon Fire HD tablets for my students to use the various learning online programs. With tablets easily accessible to them students can have that stimulation and differentiated instruction.
I hope to one day be able to provide my students with their own tablet.
Technology is now what interests students the most and they are able to veer off of the traditional learning techniques. In my classroom we use iReady, IXL and GoMath. These three programs help them a lot to advance. With tablets we can do them more frequently especially for those kids who do not have access to technology at home.
