My Students

I am excited to be teaching 4th and 5th grade math and social studies next year! I will be joining a great group of educators at this small westside Cleveland Metro School. However, it is an old building with very, very limited technology. (No Smartboards or projectors and very few tablets/laptops that are shared with several grade levels.)

I hope to create a warm, welcoming classroom with learning stations that integrate technology.

I hope to be able to receive 5 tablets so students can use differentiated math computer programs during small group station rotation time.

My Project

I am submitting a DonorsChoose.org project in May so I will hopefully have technology next school year for my students! My school has very limited technology, so any contribution made will assist my students in having a 21st century classroom with tablets to be utilized during math class each day.

By having five tablets in the classroom, students will be able to work on differentiated lessons based on their current math level during centers each day.

This will help students to get remedial math instruction while also being challenged to work up to grade level math skills.
