Tabletop Titans: Year Two of Printing, Painting, and Playing
Help me give my students resin, a second 3D printer, and a full paint set to fuel creativity, STEAM learning, and hands-on design in our growing Tabletop Gaming Club.

My Project
Our Tabletop Gaming Club has become one of the most popular and creative communities in our school. What started as a small group of 6 students has now grown to over 20 enthusiastic builders, painters, and storytellers—all eager to bring their miniature armies and sci-fi worlds to life.
In our Tabletop Gaming Club, students design, 3D print, and paint their own sci-fi miniatures—blending engineering, art, and storytelling into one powerful creative experience.
What began as an experiment last year has now become a launchpad of student engagement and creativity.
Students explore a wide range of STEAM skills through this work. They use 3D printers to bring their miniature designs to life, developing digital literacy and engineering know-how. They paint their models with care, learning about color theory, fine motor control, and visual design. During games, they practice strategic thinking, probability, and collaboration—all while immersed in worlds they’ve helped build.
Every game they play and every figure they paint builds confidence, focus, and a sense of ownership. But to keep our club thriving in year two, we need more resin and paints to support our growing group of student creators—and we’re also hoping to add a second 3D printer. With more students designing and printing their own models, a second printer will give them more hands-on time to learn critical STEAM skills like 3D modeling, iterative design, and digital fabrication. It will also reduce bottlenecks during club time, allowing more students to move from idea to creation without delay.
With your support, our Tabletop Titans will keep printing, painting, and playing—while building real-world skills and unforgettable memories.
