My Students
The transition from elementary to middle school, 6th grade students may be intimidated by a bigger campus, more students, multiple teachers and classes, in an unfamiliar school. As a 6th grade teacher, I create an environment that is warm and welcoming for all my students. My goal is to make this time a stress free time for the incoming 6th graders.
My students are a mixture of all different academic levels.
My goal for the students is the challenge them academically in math and sciences without ever compromising their character. My vision is to develop lifelong learners who continues to challenge themselves to change the world.
My Project
As the new school year starts, student will be learning digitally. From past experiences, students were faced with many technical issues as well as the pressures of learning and completing assignments digitally.
The tablet will provide me with a high resolution camera for my students to have a clean and clear visual of their teacher.
The touch screen function will allow me to use a notes taking app to help students clearly see the lesson that I will be teaching. Because I am teaching a math class, I will have to clearly explain by demonstrating math concepts as well as practice problems. The pen will provide a more precise and clean visual for students to be able to read all things that will be written. Having this will help students to have better focus on the lesson rather than worrying about the technical difficulties that they may face with "blurry work."
