This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies such as; group work, teacher-lead small groups, center work, and use of technology to ensure that each student's needs are met.
They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
Adding another tablet to my technology center would benefit my students because one more student would be able to to work in that center per rotation. I currently have 4 tablets and do not have enough tablets for each child to have their own. This tablet will help my students access I-Station and Reflex Math during class time. The tablets will help my students meet their learning goals on both programs and help them gain the necessary skills they need to gain in second grade. This will provide just another opportunity for my students to learn.
