Tables for Learning

My students need new tables for engaging in new learning tasks.

My students are a bunch of bouncy, eager to learn, five-year old students.

Each student enters the classroom from a different background with one thing in common, they are ready for KINDERGARTEN! Our school has about 55% of the student body receiving free or reduced priced lunches. My students come from a variety of living situations, which includes two parent families, one parent families, and being raised by extended family members. The socioeconomic status of all the students varies from each of the different situations.

My Project

The requested new tables will allow for more space to explore in the learning tasks that the students are going to be engaging in. The students need space to spread out and learn hands-on. The new tables will help the students have space to learn on the surface, as well as open up some floor space for other learning tasks.

The tables can be used for so many things.

I will be able to every student to have three different centers at the tables or allow each student space for individual learning tasks. Having three new tables, will improve our classroom by giving my students work space to learn and explore.
