My 21st year of teaching will be a new grade—kindergarten! I am excited and nervous about this adventure, but I know that I need to plan ahead for my students and their first year of elementary school.
I need appropriate seating options for my new students, who will be 5 and 6 years old.
I currently have desks and chairs that are too big for them, and since this will be an additional Kindergarten classroom, there isn't furniture for me to use. The budget for this school year has already been put into place, so the school cannot purchase anything now.
