This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am setting up a new kindergarten classrooms. Play is at the center of developmentally appropriate modality for learning. I am in need of tables and chairs for the classroom space.

One table will be implemented as a station for art.

It will be a space for students to explore different materials and strengthen their fine motor skills. It will be available during free choice with pencils, markers and other art supplies!

The second table will be a science area. It will have loose parts displayed such as shells and pine cone for students explore these textures and nature based materials. The science table will evolve according to the seasons and interests of the students!
