Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Age and size-appropriate furniture is necessary in creating productive learning environments for students. By aligning furniture with students' developmental stages and physical proportions, educational spaces foster comfort, safety, and engagement. Properly sized chairs and tables promote ergonomic support, reducing discomfort and distractions. It is especially important while learning to form letters. Students should be able to place their feet flat on the ground and sit with their backs straight. In addition, a kidney shaped table will allow me to see all students work and provide immediate feedback. Immediate corrective feedback is essential for effective reading interventions.
