Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

“Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way.” - George Evans

The students in my classroom are all eager to learn.

Each child learns in a different way, and it is my goal to support each and every one of them and in their own way. This new small group reading table and chairs will help me achieve my goals!

The students work best in small groups and with the support of the teacher.

Most students in my classroom are from diverse backgrounds.

Other students in my classroom's first language is not English. They love having a space where they can feel comfortable and supported while learning new things!

My Project

The dry erase table will be used during small group instruction. The teacher and students will be able to work together and have a place to sit. Currently, the small groups meet on the rug because of lack of space for my large class size. The students and teacher will also be able to use dry erase markers on the table for our word work activities or to complete math problems during small group collaborative time.

The kidney table and chairs will also be used during conferencing time.

The teacher will meet with students to go over writing, fluency practice or anything that the students are struggling with.

The students are looking forward to having a place to work together!
