My Students

My students love the iPad that we have started to use in the classroom. They get so enthused about their work and what they have created and then so bummed when they can share it with the class.

I teach the best grade ever.

First graders are the most enthusiastic learners you will ever meet. There is never a dull moment with these 6 year old's. They are very hands on learners, and love anything that allows them to use their imagination while learning.

My Project

These kids are so hands on that I applied for a Donorschoose grant last year for an iPad. We fortunately received our iPad thanks to some wonderful parents and the learning that the students were doing was amazing. There is one app that allows you to create your own play, with characters and voices and and manipulating the characters around. So AMAZING! This Apple TV would allow the students to share their work on our smart board. This is one of many ways that we could use this Apple TV devise in the classroom.

Donations to this project will allow the iPad to not just reach 1 student at a time but the whole class.

This devise allows the teacher to put anything that is on the iPad on to the Smart board! How amazing is this!?
