This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As an educator, there is nothing more exciting to me than seeing my students understand a new concept. My students are in need of four tablets and cases with keyboards to help them understand and master grade level standards, especially in reading and math.

I work at a Title I school, in a low socioeconomic area in Northern California.

Most of my students struggle with learning solely from the textbook, which has caused some of them to become discouraged. As their teacher, I want to give them interactive experiences to help them with math, reading, and language development. My students need the extra support that these tablets can provide them with.

My Project

The materials I am requesting are an incredible way to provide my students with interactive experiences that will help them be successful. Students need more than just a text book and word explanations to find the motivation to want to learn. By receiving these tablets I can make learning more fun and exciting for my students. With the funding of this project I would be able to give my students more opportunities to be successful.

As their teacher, I want to provide my students with everything possible, but with limited funds and resources I cannot do it on my own.

Please help me make a difference in my students' lives by providing them with these tablets which will open doors to endless opportunities to success.
