Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Nintendo Switch, extra controllers, and games will be used to build community and strengthen relationships during our after-school activities.
These items will create a fun and inclusive space where students can unwind, connect with peers, and develop social skills through cooperative gameplay.
By taking turns, working as teams, and encouraging each other, students will practice communication, empathy, and sportsmanship. These community-building moments are especially important for students who may not have access to social outlets outside of school. This project will help create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel valued, supported, and excited to be part of something positive after school.
