This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a passion for teaching that goes beyond the typical pedagogy and instruction. I was born to teach! To that end, I have always felt the need to connect to my students and their specific needs.
Students learn best when its fun, relatable, and or interesting.
This particular book combines all three elements. This narrative is part prose, which offers a more relaxed reading experience, but maintaining a high level of interest and vocabulary complexity. Students are more inclined to participate when the subject matter is relatable, and as this is a Marvel flagship character, my students can make positive connections.
