My Project
At our elementary school, we are proud to serve a vibrant and diverse community of 620 students from Pre-K through 5th grade. These children are sweet, curious, and full of energy, bringing warmth and joy to every hallway and classroom.
There is a critical need for an inclusive swing that allows students with mobility challenges to participate without having to transition from their wheelchairs.
Currently, there is only one playground in the entire Mobile area that offers wheelchair-accessible equipment, severely limiting recreational opportunities for these students. By installing a swing that accommodates wheelchairs directly, we can provide a more inclusive and supportive environment where all children can play, socialize, and enjoy outdoor activities without unnecessary barriers or discomfort.
