My Project
We certainly have been hit hard with very rainy weather this spring. My students enjoy the ability to use the playground specifically the swings for vestibular input. When the weather doesn't cooperate it is hard for them to organize their vestibular system. This swing is a convenient and compact way to bring the swing inside.
We work hard to address each child's individual sensory input needs which allow them the most success throughout our day.
Unfortunately our PT/OT therapy room does not have a swing and if the weather or playground schedule doesn't cooperate our students can have a difficult time. The Z Vibe also gives sensory input for oral seeking behaviors.
