My Project

Creating a supportive and uplifting classroom environment is key for my fourth-grade students—each of whom brings unique physical, emotional, developmental, and cultural strengths into our learning community. As standardized testing season approaches, it becomes even more clear that a one-size-fits-all approach does not meet the needs of every learner. With the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress around the corner, my students are preparing to show what they know. This is their time to shine. While they are motivated to succeed and do their best, many are also carrying stress and testing anxiety.

My goal is to create a positive testing culture that empowers my students to rise above that stress and perform with confidence.

By providing small but meaningful tools—like inspirational books, motivational pencils, and sweet treats—I can help transform testing days into encouraging and celebratory experiences. These items will not only support their academic focus but also nurture their emotional well-being.

Motivational pencils with uplifting messages will serve as reminders for students to believe in themselves and trust their abilities. Inspirational books will strengthen our classroom library and help students see themselves as capable, resilient learners who can overcome challenges.

As their teacher, I strive to be both a guide and a cheerleader—equipping my students with the tools they need while encouraging them every step of the way. With your support, I can help my students approach testing with confidence, positivity, and a belief in their own success.
