My Students
My students are an eager bunch who come from diverse backgrounds. They come to school with big smiles on their faces and excited to learn something new every day! They've proven resilient in the face of constant changes this year. We've had to move classrooms just a few months into the school year. We've also been flip-flopping between in school and remote learning. Through it all, the kids adapt and continue to learn.
However, supplies and supports are limited at our school but our students still need resources.
My Project
Flexible seating will help our students do their best learning in a comfortable and supportive environment. With being at home, and in a blended learning environment, many boys and girls are on their digital devices. We want to give the boys and girls of our classroom a more comfortable way of using the iPads and digital devices for learning. In addition, we would love to use our flexible seating for times on independent work. This will help motivate and engage the students, while also serving as a positive reinforcement.
