Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our campus we have so many students that consistently demonstrate the qualities that make them exceptional individuals—respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, trustworthiness, and citizenship. These character traits are vital not only for their personal growth but also for creating a positive, inclusive school community. Each of these students works hard to embody these pillars every day, whether it's helping a classmate, showing leadership, or taking responsibility for their actions. I truly believe that when students are recognized for their positive behavior, it not only motivates them to continue excelling but also encourages others to do the same.

This project is aimed at celebrating those students who have been nominated by their teachers for demonstrating outstanding character.

I am requesting donations for a variety of snacks that will be packaged into goodie bags for these students as a reward for their hard work and commitment to upholding these important values. These snacks will provide a tangible recognition of their efforts, showing them that their good character doesn’t go unnoticed.

The goal of this project is to foster an environment where positive behavior is celebrated and where students feel valued for the contributions they make to our school community. By rewarding students who exhibit strong character, I hope to inspire them to continue striving for excellence and serve as role models to their peers.

My students are special because they don’t just excel academically—they embody the qualities that will help them become compassionate, responsible, and engaged members of society. By rewarding them with these snacks, I aim to make their hard work even sweeter and to continue reinforcing the importance of character in everything they do.
