It is extremely important for Anatomy and Physiology students to have as many hands-on experiences as possible. This type of learning enhances motivation to learn and retain the information. Many of my students plan to go into the medical field and I want to provide them as much knowledge and opportunities, so they have success as they continue their education. This project will allow them to have a better understanding of the different layers of the human skin and the basic techniques of suturing. Students will be able to touch, hold, and interact with what they are actually learning.
