Help me give my students replacement connector for the Strawbees Kit using sustainable materials.

My Project
We have an amazing Strawbees Kit the students can use to create their own inventions and creations, but the connecting pieces are very expensive. Being that the connectors are so expensive, I can't allow the students to take their projects home to enjoy.
With this Sustainability Station, the students will be able to create replacement connectors using recycled plastic to use in their creations which will ultimately allow them to take their creations home.
The materials they take home can be shared with their families. Students will then be able to disassemble and reassemble their materials into new creations.
This sustainability station will allow me to use the engineering kit across all subjects and all grades.
