Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Beautifying our school is our goal. We want to learn how long it takes to grow different perennial and annual plants and the effort it takes to care for those plants. With this green space, we will each get a chance to enjoy this learning space, by planting our very own annual plant. Each child has a helping hand in beautifying our school. In science, they will learn about milkweed plants and plants parts, this will make our learning come to life!
Once we add in our pollinators, we hope the pollinators will allow us to continue to have a healthy garden year after year.
