This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What makes our students truly special is their curiosity and eagerness to explore the world around them. They possess a natural connection to nature and a desire to learn through hands-on experiences. By reestablishing and enhancing our school garden, we aim to provide them with a vibrant and immersive learning environment that will leave a lasting impact on their life.

With your support for the planter box kit, garden cart, weeder, buckets, fabric, gloves, hose, and other tools, we can create a space where our students can dig their hands into the soil, observe the wonders of nature up close, and actively participate in the entire cycle of plant growth.

These materials will make a profound difference in their learning by enabling us to offer engaging lessons that integrate science, environmental education, nutrition, and sustainability.

Our students will witness the magic of seed germination, learn about the importance of pollinators, and understand the interdependencies of ecosystems. They will engage in hands-on experiments, discover the principles of organic gardening, and cultivate a sense of environmental stewardship. Through this project, they will develop critical thinking skills, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

By supporting our school garden project, you are not only providing our students with access to valuable educational resources but also empowering them to become lifelong learners, responsible citizens, and champions of sustainability.
