This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will be used to supply each child with the basic tools to provide them with healthy hygiene. The children at my school have emotional and behavioral disabilities. Teaching our students the importance of good hygiene is essential to their success in and outside of the school building. These supplies will be packaged together and kept in a safe place inside the school building for students to use at anytime when they need such products. Along with these "hygiene kits", students will be apart of a small group discussion to go over how to use each item provided to them. The students would benefit greatly if given the opportunity to receive these hygiene kits.
