As we are embarking on the 2022-2023 school year, technology has completely infiltrated every aspect of how our classes are taught in our school.
Since the pandemic and now with the inflated cost of living, most students came back with fewer supplies and less access to the tools they need to be successful.
Even with limited resources, using technology in my classroom has proved to be quite a success as the students learn quickly, discover and enjoy every lesson while developing STEAM exploration, as well as analytical and critical thinking skills.
I am requesting one Surface Pro 8 tablet with a keyboard, which will be used for STEAM online activities. My students now need to experience actually utilizing technology on a personal "one on one" basis, to enhance their language skills as well as computer skills. Currently, my classroom is very limited in terms of technology/computers. In fact, there is only a teacher's workstation and four very ancient student workstations in my classroom. Having our students get direct access to technology will prepare them for the near future. Your donation would enhance my students' lives and expose them to using technology in our classroom.
