Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Despite being a Title I school and having a large population of low income, at-risk, and limited English proficient students, our school has managed to maintain itself among the highest performing schools in our large urban school district, and we consistently earn recognition for our accomplishments from the state.
My students are all hardworking, energetic and eager, and they come to class each day ready to learn about how to become better students.
They come to my class eager to learn, they are like sponges.
My Project
With Surface Pro my students will be able to get online to work on research projects. We have a limited amount of computers in our classroom so the Surface Pros will allow more students to access the internet.
My students are very tech savvy and I want to use technology to engage them more in their learning.
The days of dictionaries, encyclopedias and thesaurus' are over and students are using the internet more and more for research. By incorporating Surface Pros into our classroom, more of my students will be able to work more efficiently and effectively on their assignments and projects.
