My Project

I teach an amazing group of fifth graders who bring energy, curiosity, and creativity to our classroom each day. What I love most about my students is their willingness to try new strategies and support one another in their learning. They are hands-on learners who thrive when given opportunities to interact with their materials and organize their thinking in meaningful ways. Their enthusiasm for math grows when they can see it, touch it, and make it their own.

With this project, I hope to provide students with the tools to create interactive math notebooks that support their understanding of key concepts.

These notebooks will allow students to build personalized references using graph paper, colored paper, glue sticks, tape, and more. The addition of headphones will support differentiated instruction and online math practice. My goal is to help students take ownership of their learning while developing organization, confidence, and pride in their work. These resources will make a lasting difference in how my students experience math.
