Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hi prospective donors, this project will help me make my 2nd grade classroom a warm and welcoming environment for my students. My goal for the project is to make sure that everyone in my class feels safe and welcomed. The mailboxes will help me be able to organize returned work and essential papers that need to go home, the mesh tool cases will help students with keeping their school supplies together, the rug will go in my library so it’s a welcoming place where kids want to go to read, the sweeper will help keep the rug clean as my school doesn’t have a vacuum, the bulletin board paper and boarders will help make my classroom inviting so I can display student work with pride, the dry erase markers will be used by both my students and I for assignments, the telling time bulletin board will help students with learning to read time, and the pocket chart will be used to keep electronics organized in the classroom.
