My Project

Hello! I am currently in a FSC/Resource setting for students ages kindergarten-second grade. My students need lots of supplementary materials in order to gain access to their grade level curriculum. Additionally, they learn the best through hands-on learning.

One thing that we are currently working on is regulating and becoming our own advocate for our thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Having a laminator helps us create materials and reuse them for our other special learners who also met visual support to communicate and express their emotions.

Additionally, our learners are able to need different sensory tools to help regulate their emotions (for example, the sensory tiles) and help them their with learning (for example, the sandpaper numbers and letters). Multi-sensory learning has been seen to have a great impact and success on student learning. Especially on their foundational skills! Overall these materials will help my students gain access to their education, help regulate their emotions, and create a positive and fun learning environment!
