My Students

My students are working hard right along with me to make our virtual school year successful.

They come online every day with a smile and a story to tell, and they give me the energy and motivation to keep going.

One day, I came to our Morning Meeting a few minutes late, due to technical difficulties. My students were all online, telling each other knock-knock jokes, laughing and so happy to be on with each other. If you've never heard a 5-year old tell a knock-knock joke...it's hilarious: Knock Knock - Who's There? - Pumpkin - Pumpkin Who? Pumpkin Pumpkin! As I said, they keep me going.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful resource, especially during virtual learning. We have had to shift our Montessori materials "online", which has been a challenge. There are wonderful virtual learning materials available on Teachers Pay Teachers that have supported my students this year.

This project will provide access to the incredible talents and educational resources of the teaching community.

I will use this gift card to purchase supplemental materials for virtual learning and to increase learning opportunities during a traditional school year. Resources used included Google Classroom lessons and slides, printable material to send home, and more.
