My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting are needed desperately in our classroom. This is my first year as a teacher in a Montessori classroom. When reviewing this past year's Arizona Academic Standards Assessment, the students struggled with understanding the material due to the scientific vocabulary. These science bundles will help expose them to this vernacular and will hopefully help them with standardized testing.

Another thing my students have struggled with in the past is regulating their emotions.

With the heightened amount of technology use, I would like to try and stray away from that and use books and other fidgets to help students regulate their behavior and emotions, which will help them foster relationships with their peers.
