My Project
As a special education teacher in an elementary school, I am dedicated to providing my students with a supportive and enriching learning environment. Many of my students have unique sensory needs, and I strive to make sure that they feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to learn every day. Sensory tools, fidget items, and snacks are essential for helping my students regulate their emotions, focus on tasks, and feel energized.
This project will provide sensory tools such as stress balls and body socks which help my students who are feeling overwhelmed or need a way to release energy.
In addition, I am seeking snacks that will support my students' nutritional needs, helping them stay focused and positive throughout the school day. These snacks will help ensure that no student has to worry about hunger or discomfort.
Student Impact:
My students face various challenges and sensory sensitivities that can affect their ability to focus and engage in learning activities. With these supplies, they will have the tools they need to regulate their sensory experiences, feel comfortable in the classroom, and stay focused on their learning. Snacks will also ensure that they are physically prepared for the school day.

What We'll Do with the Supplies:
