Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our school, every student deserves the tools to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. With your support, I will bring engaging Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) materials to my students to help them better understand their emotions, build stronger relationships, and develop resilience.
Our goal is to provide these students with SEL resources — like emotion regulation games, calming corner tools (yoga mats and sensory floor tiles), read-aloud books, and mindfulness activities — will give them practical strategies to manage stress, resolve conflicts peacefully, and grow in confidence.
This project will create a more inclusive, compassionate counseling office where students feel seen, heard, and valued. Your generosity will help build a foundation of emotional intelligence that supports their success now and into the future.
