My Project
My students are fearless. They have courage to try new things, to advocate for what is right in and out of the classroom, and support one another to be better human beings. They are kind, compassionate, and dedicated. They show these qualities daily in our community circle meetings.
My students make me proud every day and inspire me to make positive changes in myself, our community and the world.
They are fearless in sharing from their heart with one another and supporting one another in our community circles. Encouragement abounds in our classroom community daily because of this genuine compassion climate we have created through affirmations and meditations. I love that we keep showing up for one another without judgement and with nothing but light and love.
By continuing to support one another in our daily community circle and creating a warm, nurturing positive atmosphere with these beautiful materials including a light cloud for our circle, positive affirmation cards, meditation cards for grounding, as well as some treats to share for our courage, we are showing our students they matter. We all do. The support of social emotional learning is crucial in our society and it begins in our small knit communities.
