My Project

The Diane Alber Social Emotional Learning set is an invaluable resource for supporting my special needs students in the classroom. Through engaging characters like Scribble, Little Spot, and Imagination, the books and activities present complex emotions and social concepts in a clear, visual, and relatable way. This helps students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences to better recognize, understand, and regulate their feelings. The visual cues, repetitive language, and interactive elements support multiple learning styles, making it easier for students to develop empathy, self-awareness, and coping strategies. By integrating these tools into our daily routine, I can create a more inclusive, predictable, and emotionally safe learning environment where all students feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow both socially and academically.
