This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is filled with bright, hardworking minority students who are passionate about academics, sports, and personal growth. To support their mental health, physical wellness, and focus in class, we’re seeking tools that empower them to thrive in all areas of life.

With your help, we’ll create a flexible space where students can recharge, refocus, and reset.

The yoga mats, chair yoga ball, and resistance bands will promote mindfulness and stress relief during breaks or light physical activity sessions. The ice recovery tub and wrist wraps will aid student-athletes in safe recovery after games and practices. For hydration and a touch of fun, gym bottle stickers help personalize their bottles and encourage consistent water intake.

The mobile desk and laptop stand will provide ergonomic options for students needing adaptable workspaces. Body wipes offer a quick way to freshen up after physical activity and are important for students transitioning back to class. Meanwhile, the chess game and beach blanket create opportunities for relaxed social time and strategic thinking during downtime.

Together, these items help create a holistic learning environment supporting physical wellness, reducing stress, and building focus and confidence. Your support makes a direct impact in shaping strong, healthy, and resilient future leaders.
