Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students I work with are Special Education Resource students who need additional support in many different areas. The materials chosen are ones that will benefit all of the students to show what they can do or strengthen areas they need support in.
These resources will assist my student in showing their understanding of skills they are learning.
Many of my students struggle with their handwriting. The paper noted will assist students in their overall writing and handwriting. Often my students struggle with their handwriting and shorter pencils can assist in their handwriting and fine motor skills.
This group struggles at times with their Social Emotional Skills. Students need additional support and materials to benefit their growth in these skills. The materials chosen will assist in the growth of these skills.
I also chose materials for math that will assist students in visualizing and showing mastery of their math skills.
