Help me give my students opportunities to develop their growth mindset and support Social Emotional Learning through engaging picture books and STEAM projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through the use of engaging picture books and STEAM projects, students will learn and practice growth mindset. The Maker Lab is a space designed to spark creativity, for students to explore science and technology, and to also learn the essential life skills of perseverance, cooperation, and flexibility to name a few.
These picture books will be used as a springboard for STEAM projects that support the growth mindset and SEL of over 350 students this school year.
These inspiring books have been selected to use with students in TK through 5th grade.
