This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher who is moving to a new campus, I’m excited to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for my students. However, transitioning to a new space means starting from scratch with many of the materials we need. To help my students succeed, we’re in need of essential supplies like privacy folders, which will provide them with focused, quiet spaces for independent work and assessments. The colorful headphones will allow them to immerse themselves in digital lessons without distractions, while the vibrant duct tape will be used for color coding supplies by class so we keep our classroom organized.

In addition, I want to make our classroom feel like home, and that’s why I’m requesting frames to display our class pictures.

This will give students a sense of pride and community as they see themselves on display. These supplies will help us build a classroom where students feel motivated, focused, and valued as they start this new chapter at a new school. Your support will make a meaningful difference in their learning experience and help us create a space where they can thrive and grow.
