This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello, friends! My students, ages 3-5, are special education preschoolers.
Their disabilities and needs vary from student to student, including autism, Down syndrome, speech impairments, intellectual disability, health impairments, and many others.
Due to their short attention spans and their wide range of needs, we are constantly transitioning from one activity to the next, as well as targeting different learning levels.
My Project
These supplies and resources will help me prepare materials and activities that will help support student learning while staying safe at home. Some of these resources will be able to be taken home by students as part of our loaner activity program. I want to be able to provide my students with engaging and educational activities that can be taken home and returned after 2 weeks. Other materials will help me prepare learning activities that will support our live instructional sessions. The laminating machine, paper, and printer ink will help prepare props and visual aids for my students.
