it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students are motivated to do their best academically and behaviorally. One of the most effective tools we use is our classroom treasure box, which serves as a reward system to celebrate students’ achievements and positive choices.
Raffle prizes play a significant role in this system.
These small incentives, such as sensory items, pencils, and fun erasers are highly motivating for students. They look forward to earning tickets for the weekly raffle by demonstrating good behavior, completing assignments, showing kindness, and participating actively in lessons.
The treasure box not only encourages individual success but also builds a sense of community in our classroom. Students cheer each other on and learn the value of hard work and positive actions. It’s amazing how something as simple as a small prize can boost their confidence and keep them excited about learning.
