Supporting a Flipped Math Classroom

Help me give my students awesome video lessons to support their math learning! We need an iPad Air.

My Project

My Algebra 1 students are eager to learn and love to incorporate technology into their math learning. Please help support a transition to a flipped classroom where students will preview lesson videos and come to class with more time for centers and instruction specific to their learning styles.

With the use of an iPad, I will be able to record short lessons and post them on edpuzzle.com where students will be able to view them and answer questions.

The next day, students will come to class having previewed the topic and will be placed into an appropriate leveled group where they will practice the topic they saw in the video.

The use of an iPad and stylus will streamline the lesson to be more fluid, easy to edit, and add in shots of the technology we use, such as the online desmos graphing calculator.
