Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschoolers are a joy to work with. The smiles, laughter, fist bumps and hugs happen throughout our day. There are also grunts, sighs, frowns, and cries. My students are learning to manage their strong emotions in socially acceptable ways.

My students are also learning to recognize and name their feelings and emotions.

The photo libraries will be used to help my students develop their social-emotional vocabulary. The storytelling kits will help my preschoolers learn about kindness, friendship, sharing, dealing with fear and more.

The differing abilities puzzle set is a much-needed addition to our existing puzzles because they depict the diversity that is in our class.
