My students need some high-interest fiction books for Reading Workshop and clipboards for Writing Workshop assignments

My Students
My goal for my students is that they become lifelong readers and writers who can fluently read and write through a variety of genres.
My 4th graders consist of a lively bunch of students who come from a culturally diverse population.
They are excited about learning and bring a wide range of learning styles. My students are from an urban public school and are valuable members that create a caring community with their peers, teachers, and staff.
My Project
My students crave a variety of genres and they requested some new books that are not in our classroom library yet. Those books will also come in handy during Reading Workshop because my students will need a large variety of leveled texts that are interesting and engaging. The addition of clipboards will assist my students during Writing Workshop by providing a sturdy surface for writing on the carpet or for writing activities outside the classroom.
Clipboards will improve my classroom by providing comfortable and portable writing surfaces during Writing Workshop whereas the high interest books will attract and hold the attentions all my readers, from the book worms to the reluctant readers.
