Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students in Pre-K classroom are part of a school readiness program in school that celebrates EL's. Delightful, energetic, and eager to learn, we encourage early literacy and in many ways. We incorporate many lessons in our art center to make learning engaging, meaningful, and fun! Our students are always spending time in the art center. Many students use our art center as a place for meditation, learning to self-regulate emotions through art.

Every child is an artist!

Help us support our young artists by providing supplies. Also, we would like to request flexible seating in our classroom. This will continue to support our eager learners and to help every student feel comfortable in their own space.

My Project

Our students look forward to the art center every day, where they foster creativity and meaningful relationships with others while working. We incorporate all of the subjects in our school readiness program into the art center. Our students learn to describe his or her pictures, assisting with language development. The students will use the materials daily to create pictures for years to come. As the first day of spring has arrived, our budding artists are creating impression art, using flowers as inspiration. We encourage creative art and would like to complete more projects as a group. We are looking forward to creating a Seasons collage as a class.
