This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are taking action every day to make a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste, reusing materials, recycling, and up-cycling creatively. These efforts are not only helping our planet but also inspiring others to think differently about sustainability. To amplify their work and encourage more people to follow their lead, we are seeking your support to purchase a professional video camera.
This camera will allow us to document their progress in high-quality videos, showcasing the innovative ways our students are creating change in their community.
With your help, we can share their stories far and wide, inspiring other schools, families, and individuals to adopt similar eco-friendly practices.
Your support will also help launch our new club in partnership with Junk Kouture, an organization that challenges students to transform “junk” into incredible wearable art. This club will provide a platform for our students to merge creativity with sustainability and compete at regional and global levels. A professional video camera will be essential to document their projects, from brainstorming sessions to the final product, ensuring every step of their journey is shared and celebrated.
