My Project

In 2019, SLA/Palumbo started a girls' lacrosse program. SLA is an inquiry-driven, project-based school located in the city of Philadelphia and allows for citywide admissions. We were thrilled to expand our athletics program and need financial support to continue to support and empower our athletes.

We want our players to reap the lasting benefits of participation in athletics -- improvement in academic performance; development of life skills such as time management and collaboration; and the health benefits of engaging in a physically active lifestyle.

Your contributions will greatly help to level the playing field for our players! Without the proper equipment (lacrosse sticks), the girls wouldn't be fully prepared to compete against the best that Philly has to offer!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase athletic engagement and teamwork, but you will also ultimately help to increase their feeling of belonging to the larger athletic community.
