Help me give my students creativity and technology to our classroom! We’re hoping to get a Cricut, camera, keyboard for our iPad, and a trimmer for student projects. Every little bit helps our kids create and learn!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We’re working hard to rebuild our tech to better support our students and staff as we continue recovering from the loss of our campus. These areas are more than just physical spaces—they’re central hubs where learning is organized, creativity is nurtured, and connection is made possible.
Access to tools like a keyboard case and pencil for our iPad, a digital camera, Cricut machine, an ice maker, a speaker, and a storage cabinet to store our items would make a meaningful impact on the way we teach, engage, and inspire.
A camera allows us to document and share student projects and support visual learning. A Cricut and paper cutter opens the door to hands-on creativity, empowering students to design, build, and personalize materials for both academic and extracurricular projects. A speaker helps amplify voices during classroom activities. The storage cabinet would help organize our items.
Together, these tools help us create a learning environment that is modern, inclusive, and effective—one that meets students where they are and gives them the resources to thrive. For our students, who are still navigating the challenges of displacement, having access to this kind of supportive and engaging space can make all the difference.
