My Project
KF Elementary is excited to launch our very own Green Team! This is an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to take ownership of our school's environment, both inside and out.
KF Green Team will serve as an outlet for students to collaborate and advocate for the environmental wellness of our campus.
Our Green Team aims to promote student leadership through campus beautification and STEM projects including creating gardens to attract native pollinators, compost bins to reduce food waste, and rain barrels to promote water conservation.
By establishing a sense of pride in our school's cleanliness and natural beauty, we hope to lay down the necessary foundation for the leaders, environmentalists, and change-makers of tomorrow!
